BEWARE!! 8/5/2009

Horrible customer service - sales people have little knowledge of fabrics and could care less if you buy a product that doesn't fit your lifestyle (i.e. small children). I purchased the warranty and have gotten horrible service from Cardi's. The cleaning company they use is terrific but Cardi's is just horrible. I will NEVER shop there again. OWNER , MANAGERS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE 2/8/2009

I PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM CARDI'S. THEIR DELIVERY MEN ENTERED MY HOME WITHOUT ME OR ANYONE ELSE OF MY FAMILY AT HOME. THEY DELIVERY MEN STATED ""WELL THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND WE THOUGH YOU WANTED YOUR ITEMS ASSEMBLED "" CALL CARDI'S, MADE ALL THE CORRECT CONTACTS, TOLD I WOULD HAVE A WARRANTY ON THE FURNITURE. I COULD HAVE SUED THEM BUT CHOSE NOT TO. COME TO FIND OUT WHEN I NEEDED SERVICE THERE WAS NONE. SPOKE TO ONE OF THE OWNERS HE COULD CARE LESS. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 11/18/2008

I strongly agree. The customer service is the worst. I received damaged furniture when arrived. scratched on every piece. One week later they switched the furniture with new pieces. The leg fell off of the coffee table within 2 weeks. Broken pieces of wood were screwed together under the table on the leg and a screw was missing (as if someone would never notice). We had to wait 6 weeks for a sleeper sofa. When arrive the sleeper was broken and wouldn't pull out. When the technician arrived 3 days later he noticed the chair we received also was coming apart at the seem(which was nice on his part to notice this) and he took pictures and he could not believe the damages . The casters (legs) were all put on backwards and scratched on the chair and couch.The tech called customer service and I told them wanted to return the whole set and has been a horrible experience and was inferior quality and after waiting hours 4 times coming to my house continuously they told me I could return the couch that was broken now and receive credit for the store and I would have to pay 95 dollars for them to pick it up. Are they crazy !!! A brand new furniture that just arrived !! I had lamps to go with the set and the supervisor wanted to know what was wrong with them. I said if I return the couch and chair they don't match. Complete incompetent idiots. Myself having worked in a call center for 3 years I have never ever treated anyone in this manor.I always put the customer first and do whats best to keep them coming back. I received no compensation no sympathy for damaged furniture with an ongoing problem. I myself was not pleased with this customer service. I will never buy from Cardi's again having gone through this experience. Oh and still waiting for a return phone call with which they told me they would call back in a short while. I won't hold my breath. I hope Nick , Ron , and Pete are aware of the poor attitudes of their supervisors and management to what is going on there. Nice selection, but a Customer Service nightmare 8/6/2008

Great selection. The Swansea store is huge. But good luck if there is a problem with your order. Their customer service departmet needs improvement! They'll take your name and number and say they'll call you back, but you won't hear from them. So you have to keep following up with them. It's been been five months since my order was delivered. One piece was missing and I still haven't received it!!! And Cardi's hasn't done anything to turn this dissatisfied customer into a a happy one (no discount, coupons, etc.) I like the quality of items at their store (especially in the Design Center) but not sure I'd want to deal with the customer service headache ever again. more
