Wonderful experience from the start. Hubby and I loved the no-hassle approach. My husband found an HHR SS at CarMax in Ontario California. We already have a 2006 HHR LT and love the car, so he wanted one for himself...and of course it had to be the SS upgrade..Beautiful 2009,Lazer blue, low miles and showroom condition the ad said...We were hooked up to a salesman in Roseville, and he called down to Ontario and had them do a walk around, and it seemed like a deal...for 99 dollars, they shipped the car to our Roseville location, and with the great help of the staff..we were proud owners of the car within a few hours..We felt very confident that the car is what CarMax says it is...the salesman went over the extensive Carfax report with us,item by item, and answered all the questions with ease. He really knew the car, as my husband had already done his homework too..so it would have been obvious if he was faking it....We have bought and sold cars in the past to CarMax and have always had great luck with them..Now we have twin HHR's...and the new kid on the block gets lots of looks from everyone...Great job CarMax!!!!!... We named her Prisilla....sounds a bit silly....huh?.....but a great addition to our family....such a shame Chevy stopped making the HHR...great car for anyone...and an additional note about the poor guys at the auto mall close by...they stand in groups salivating when you drive by just looking..and pounce on you when you do stop to inquire..it is a cut throat job for them at best to make a living...soooo nice that CarMax has their approach to making it almost fun to buy a car...Bravo Carmax and thank you Eli for being such a wonderful salesman....I hope people ask for you by name when they come looking for an honest guy to buy from... more

I just bought my 04 Honda Accord from here!! There service is OUTSTANDING!! From the minute I called them they were helpful, no pressure, friendly, and knowledgeable!! I took my car back in for the center console to be looked at (during my 30day free warranty) They went over and beyond. Given it took a little while, they were very friendly, and although I didnt need a loner car, i have heard they give you one!! I recommend this dealership/Service center to EVERYONE!! VERY happy with the service I received!! THANK YOU CARMAX Sacramento/Roseville. I will be buying my next car from you in the future!! more

while we successfully purchased a car there over 2 years ago, we just bought another and have had nothing but awful service, from the sales gal through purchasing, and into service already a couple of times. poor communication and follow through with many excuses. sadly i would not recommend this location to anyone anymore, although i still think the idea is fabulous. what happened in 2 years? We purchased an F250 in November of 2003 for a great price. I loved the fact we could shop and the kids were watched for us. THis made the whole deal a lot easier. PROS: Great Prices, Friendly non pushy staff CONS: They don't do "trade ins" more

we went there to shop around for used cars and were very pleased with the way we were treated. My eighteen year old daughter was the customer and the salewoman was very patient and answered all her questions about loans and interest, which is like pulling teeth at most dealers, until you sign the papers. These people really treat you like a person rather than a mark. They are not the cheapest store in town, but the service is good enough to make up for that. Good selection of cars, plus on line shopping and ordering. PROS: good selection of good used cars, no preasure salepersons CONS: its in Roseville more

It only took about an hour at this dealership to buy my Inifiti i-30, and its the best car I've ever owned, and the best price I've ever paid for a car. The salesman really don't pressure, the cars really are decent, they are really priced as marked, below blue book, and if you want the car, you write a check and leave. When I came back next week to get some extras installed, the service department was fast and friendly, too. more
