I moved into the city and had no need for my 2009 Honda Civic. I called several dealers who advertised and wound up going to Car Cash. I got a fair price, paid on the spot and an ...

I recently had an experience with Car Cash in trying to sell my car and wanted to see if they would live up to their guarantee. First, i tried to sell my car privately and then to...

I guess they don't need business 1/29/2008

I sent them via their on-line ""e-mail"" the description of my car, etc. and all of my info. to get a price quote. Never responded. I guess they don't want business. People said well call them to see what happended. I wouldn't deal with people like this. Why should I have given all my info. and personal info. out to strangers then they do not respond. Obviously they make enough money and don't need another BMW. But I am glad they didn't respond because I sold it a few weeks later, and I know I probably got $2,000 more then their price range. Whowever checked this review not helpful is a bloody idiot as my review is true and they are not helpful, I guess you must mean it towards Car Cash, I givemy review a thumb's up! Pros: Maybe a fast way to sell your car Cons: They don't need business more

Car salesman in reverse 1/14/2008

Car cash is okay as long as you don't have any expectations of a no-hassle car sale. The range of prices they suggest on the phone is very different from their offer when you get there. After playing up minor dents in the car and suggesting that they could not possibly pay more than half of the phone quote, they eventually agreed to a price about halfway in between (this after several ""I have to speak to my manager"" trips. It is convenient and fast but if you really want top dollar, I'd suggest selling the car yourself. By all means, be prepared to haggle. more

Got my price...NO hassles....repeat customer 9/27/2007

This is the 3rd car I have sold 1 800 Car Cash....I call them and described my car (last car was 2005 Porsche Cayenne S) and they give me a price range....I drove in the following day (I was running late and they stayed opened almost an extra hour for me) and my salesman Phil R. greeted me and my Cayenne was sold in less than 1/2 an hour...Car Cash paid off my loan and I left a very happy customer. I have sent some of my relatives and a co-worker to Car Cash and they were all treated fairly. I almost forgot...my dad sold Car Cash a car in 1978.....\r \r Thank you Car Cash.\r \r Bob Pros: Excellent fair price....staff was courteous and friendly...free parking is a plus more

Dishonest 9/7/2007

Customer be aware! I was very honest with the description of the car, specs, etc. and I was given a range of what they will pay for my car. I thought it was going to be an easy transaction. Once I arrived, the 'though guy' attitude did not scare me but surprised me, since I was only stepping into the building. Then, they gave me a much lower price and said ""nobody would pay what the amount you mention""... so, why would they quote it by phone?\r \r They are not honest and I wish I had known this before taking the trip to the city for nothing...! Pros: Completely dishonest Cons: RUDE!!!! more
