Captain Buzzy's is a warm inviting place that serves a consistently good cup of coffee. The staff alone is worth the trip. The beans are roasted and ground in the cafe'. You can't find a better place to drink your coffee. more

I live in va beach and hunt and fish in Cumberland Va Captain Buzzys is about half way home We like to stop there and get coffee after a long cold day in the woods And man I will tell you what it really wakes us up for that drive home The staff and custermers are so nice to us even when we are in our camo hunting suits Pros: good food and drink more

The coffe is good, The atmosphere is cool. But $4.00 for a slice a cake is a bit much. The eggs and cheese breakfast wraps are always on point and the employees are characters which is why I keep going back. Pros: ambience, parking, Service Cons: a little pricy more

I grew up in Church Hill when Buzzy's was Ubanks Grocery. I now live in Chesterfield and frequent Buzzy's whenever I am in the area.\r My cousin lives in Minnesota and when she is in town we do a walking tour of the Hill and always stop at Captain Buzzy's.\r Normally it is the best ever and I like it better than Starbucks and love the atmosphere. The coffee is to die for.\r In March my cousin was in town on business and we went to Capt. Buzzy's , the girl who waited on us told me she did not know how to make any of the specialty coffees on the menu, I thought she was joking.\r She wasn't and we left and returned a day or so later and she repeated her story.\r \r Needless to say i have not been back since. I am not saying I will never return but it surely upset both of us. more

Captain Buzzy's is a great place to hang. They have good coffee plus interesting, friendly and talkative staff. They offer free WiFi for hanging out with your laptop. They offer quite a few food items also. The ones I have tried are good. The location is in the Church Hill area, in an old building with a cool decor.
