My husband and I love Captain Porky's. Dino, the owner, is a friendly, funny man who always has great stories for his customers, and even better food for them. Walk in and you feel very welcome. My husband lived in Louisiana for a while; he gets the alligator or catfish most of time, and he says it's great. I usually get some of Dino's fantastic chicken. It has a smoky grilled flavor that never fails to please. The hot barbecue sauce is hot but not so much so that all I taste is heat -- it has a wonderful flavor. Side dishes, particularly the cole slaw, are good. My husband buys his fresh seafood there. He got his parents hooked on Dino's perch filets. They're his dad's birthday present now.
