Best BBQ in the Mobile area. 12/2/2010

This is the best in the Mobile area that we have found. We tried the ribs and the chicken. Frank and his daughter were working when we were in and we made ourselves at home in this 2 table shack. The chicken was moist and we really liked the dry rub. The meats had perfect smoke. Not too overpowering. The sauce is served on the side as it should be and was a perfect complement. Slaw and beans were perfection. The beans had the same black pepper goodness that were found in the rub and sauce. more

Best BBQ in the area 12/15/2008

It's a small business with very little seating, but well worth it! The meat is all wood smoked on site for hours, and the BBQ sauce handmade by the owner. The establishment has only been there for 3 years, but is very popular in and around the surrounding areas. If you are ever near it's definately worth the stop! Best BBQ you will ever try! Pros: The food and service was excellent! Cons: small and very little seating more
