We hadn't dined at captain D's since it moved to the new location but I had a serious Jones for some batter dipped cod and since our Long John Silvers closed in Paragould months ago I was really looking forward to some. I ordered the 4 piece fish plate, my husband had the 3 piece chicken plate and my daughter ordered the fried shrimp plate. The service was fairly quick considering the chicken, shrimp and hush puppies were one shade away from being black they were so over cooked. The fish had the opposite problem. It was runny and mushy inside like it wasn't cooked enough, also the fish was yellow and brown in color rather than a nice shade of cod white. I will never dine here again. Granted the meal only cost 24 dollars but we essentially got three orders of fries and three drinks for that amount of money and ended up throwing everything else away. I don't know what happened between the old location and this one but they certainly can't cook anything but fries anymore.
Pros: The fries aren't bad
Cons: Everything else is inedible. (Cr*p)
