What started off in Donelson, Tenn. as "Mr. D's" in 1969 has evolved into fast food chain "Captain D's" with restaurants across more than 20 states. Touting high quality and quick-service seafood and traditional Southern fare as its mission, the menu offers hand-battered fried, baked, broiled fish, shrimp and chicken dishes. Starters include cheese sticks and jalapeno bites, seafood-stuffed crab shells and side items like corn, baked potato, coleslaw, tossed salads, hushpuppies and desserts.
