Phenomenal! 2/11/2015

My father-in-law referred me to CAPS Transmission when I had problems with my car. They were very responsive to my needs when I reached out to them. After they reviewed my car for a few days, they informed me of what was wrong before doing any work. They told me the price in detail, which was not too extravagant. I am very happy with them! I will definitely use their service again. more

Fantastic! 12/22/2014

I have been going to CAPS Transmission for four years now. More recently they did a custom job for my truck, and changed my transmission to a heavy duty type. That's something that most companies around here wouldn't touch. It took a little while, but everything turned out great. I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who appreciates good service. more

Friendly, helpful, kind, prompt, and efficient. 12/19/2014

The people at CAPS Transmission are friendly, helpful, and do excellent work in a timely manner. They replaced the transmission in my truck, and did a great job. The mechanics were knowledgeable, and I liked how they took the time to listen to what was going on before jumping into anything. Some mechanics that I know do not do that. They also were able to finish the job within one day, and that was very helpful because I had no other mode of transportation. I would most definitely use them again if I ever need to. more

Good and honest people. 12/18/2014

I have used CAPS Transmission twice so far because they have always been great. They recently replaced a seal in my transmission because it was leaking. They're good and honest people who seem to know what they're doing. I can usually tell when people are lying to me, but the people there are very forthcoming. I would go back to them without hesitation. more

A broke-down transmission is never fun, but CAPS made it as painless as possible. I feel fortunate to have found it. The dealership quote for the same work was outrageous - this was the only place that had the integrity and know-how and customer concern I was looking for. Nobody in the nation has a better reputation - and it is greatly deserved. Great guarantee too. more

Quick and timely service at a fair price. 12/15/2014

The people at CAPS Transmission are wonderful. I have traveled 35 miles to get to them, and I regret nothing. I had gone to another transmission shop to get my clutch fixed, and they botched the job. I took it to CAPS after, and they fixed it promptly. I had a couple of other issues, and they called me to ask if they could fix them. They did a fine job at a great price, and overall I could not be happier. A week later my neighbor was having trouble with his transmission, and I brought his car to CAPS. They're the place for me. Professional and Excellent. 12/12/2014

This was the first time I worked with CAPS Transmission. I brought in my Chevy Tahoe and was given a first class service. Alan Shore communicated with me directly. He followed up with phone calls and let me know what was going on in detail. Alan is a great guy. He really knows his stuff. I would recommend his service. I'm 59 years old and have not gotten any better service in any other auto-repair company. 10/16/2014

CAPS Transmission repaired the clutch for my car. I am single, so they helped me get home (they were really accommodating) and picked me up when my vehicle was done. They don't do more work than what they're supposed to and if they do need to, they ask for my permission. I have been pressured now to return because they have a one year warranty, and they have no problem with adjusting any problems I have. They are as good as it gets! more

Quality work. Excellent service. 10/8/2014

This was the first time I worked with Caps Transmission. I brought in my Dodge Grand Caravan. They had to change out the solenoid, which is an electrical part within the transmission. The technician was great and the customer service was friendly. The only issue I had was with the communication. I had to keep calling to see when my vehicle would be ready, and I thought it would have been better if they could have been the ones to keep in contact with me. They also ran into an issue, and my vehicle wasn't ready on time. I didn't find out until I had gone over to the shop to pick it up, which was inconvenient. Other than that, the experience was good. The work done on my transmission was great. more

Pleasant and professional 10/6/2014

Alan is very pleasing, very professional, and not overbearing. 8/19/2014

I took my Chevrolet Equinox to Caps Transmissions, and I am very satisfied with my experience. Alan helped me, and I felt that he had genuine concerns for me and my vehicle. He refused to do anything to it that didn't need to be done. I liked that, because I feel that other mechanics might have taken advantage of the situation. Alan was very pleasing, very professional, and not overbearing. I really liked his attitude. He was a real pleaser of the customer. He did a diagnostic on my vehicle. He did everything possible to find out what was wrong. He found that I didn't need any transmission work, and couldn't find anything that warranted a service. I would highly recommend his honest service. more

They're the best 8/11/2014

I had a timing chain replaced and a transmission rebuilt by CAPS and they did a very good job. I was really happy with the work, they're the best at what they do. If the whole world was full of CAPS Transmissions, it would be a better place. more

They do an excellent job 7/21/2014

I've had good experiences with CAPS Transmission. They've rebuilt the transmission in my Ford F-250, and they've also checked things out to let me know what's going on with it. They didn't try to push anything on me, they just told me what was wrong, what it would cost, and they did the repairs in a timely manner. The prices are fair. I can't ask for anything more than that. more

Honest customer service 7/17/2014

CAPS Transmission was very friendly. They didn't try to do work that wasn't necessary, and they simply told me what they thought I needed done. They ended up doing a transmission flush on my car, and now my car is running perfectly. more
