Practice Massages 4/13/2006

If you're looking for a reasonably priced full body massage, this is a great place to visit. The therapists are learning how to give massages so you can get a great massage at half the price you would pay at a full service salon. The only bad thing about the massages is that they're all done in one room. They have separate areas drawn by curtains but you can still hear other people's conversations. more

Doggie Wash!!! 3/16/2006

This is such an innovative idea for a business, a dog wash. Either you wash your dog here or they do it for you! Think of not having that mess at home! Wow! Mary and her staff obviously love dogs and treat them like their own. They also sell dog accessories. Great Asbury Road location and open lots of varying times. Check this out! This business is very clean inside. I was impressed! more

Capri College 8/19/2005

I think that Capri College is one of Dubuque's best kept secrets. It is a cosmetology college and has a salon where students provide the services, supervised by instructors. I have gone there for several years and never gotten a bad service. The haircuts are around $8.00. They do facials, cuts, colors, manicures, pedicures, and other services. There is a massage therapy program, also, next door and the students do massages. Capri does a great job with birthday parties for young girls. They get hair styles and manicures. more
