Seafood lover from the midwest here....while visiting family in the area I wanted the best seafood I could find and I found it! This was an amazing experience; fantastic service, kitschy interior and down home appeal. I have rarely had a better dining experience in my lifetime. And the food.... fresh, perfectly seasoned and truly affordable. I will be back whenever I am in NJ! more

The best seafood around! great prices. Love the shrimp never had a bad batch! One stop shop for take out food and liquor in one place. People are friendly! more

Fresh Fish 3/21/2009

My wife & I love seafood so a friend told us about this place. My wife loves-New England Clam soup & their stuffed flounder. I love the crab bisque soup & the mussel marinara with linguine. It definitely taste fresh. The servers are courteous & funny. A great place for a special night out. more

Attention seafood lovers 11/24/2008

You will need to ask for plenty of napkins when you visit this location. They can bring you out clams and shrimp by the tray full. Love to eat here when family visits from out of town. more

Cap'N Cat Clam Bar is great for the steamed seafood lover. Clean and traditional seafood restaurant. Love the dunguness crab. Great place to bring the kids for seafood. more

seafood at it's minimum. 10/1/2008

This is seafood in the bare. It is strictly a steamed seafood restaurant. Not a french fry to be found.Steamed clams, mussels, king crab, and dungenese crab done just right. With melted butter being the only accompaniment.Be careful of their cocktail sauce. Very hot and VERY good. more
