I bought a new car, and the dealership was able to get me a loan through here. I was very specific w/ the dealer & let him know that I only wanted a place that would accept advance payment (Not all do). So I began making my payments. I would send 3 payment coupons at a time w/ a check for 3 mos. All of a sudden I get a call from their collections department that I am delinquent on my loan! I let them know that was impossible, since I always send payments for 3 months at a time & according to my info I was not due for another payment for 6 mos. I was told sorry, but they do not accept advance payments, so when they would recieve my payments, they would aplly one to teh current month, and the additional 2 to the addt'l principal. I let her know when I send my payments, this is not what I asked them to do, and they should have contacted me, rather than apply the money how they saw fit, and toss out my add't payment coupons. After much bickering w/ the manager, she finally agreed to reverse the additional funds off the principal & apply them as payments. I let her know the dealership was under the impression that they did allow this. If you are looking for nice credit union in Green Bay, Go to Schneider Community Credit Union. I have never had a problem there, and they always applied my payments the way I asked them to.
Pros: None
