We installed our Solatube back in March 2012 and we are still amazed by how much this product has changed the way we feel about our laundry room/garage door access. No longer do we have to turn on the light every time we enter this room. On sunny days and even moonlit nights, theres a stream of light that pours down that shaft. And lastly, for all you people who abhor punching holes in their roof because of potential leaks....the skylight dome hasn't been breached and the flashing around the dome is intact with no leaks. You'll never regret putting in one of these Solatubes. more

Very happy with the amount of light coming into my kitchen 3/23/2014

The workers where very professional and neat, fast in and out work. Cleanup was great and I'm now having the solar exhaust fan installed. more

We love the solar light....we had an interior kitchen , dark, and now I keep thinking I need to turn off the light... Wonderful for an interior room. more

Would highly recommend! 2/27/2014

I would definitely recommend Capital City Daylighting! They cleaned up after themselves, and they did the work within a real reasonable amount of time. They installed a solatube in the ceiling of our bathroom, and I love the light we get now! Our bathroom used to be very dark, and it's unbelievable how much light we get after the installation. Sometimes I think the light is on in the bathroom, and I go to switch it off only to realize it wasn't on at all! They did a great job! They were very kind, and the information they gave us was great. They knew what they were doing. I couldn't ask for anything better! more

The guys at Capital City Daylighting were fantastic! They were very good and factual when I started out talking with them about products. There was no pressure to buy. It was very, very positive! We ended up getting solar powered roof vents from them, which they installed. The installation went very well. The vents are outstanding! We really enjoy having them, and they've made a huge difference.The installers were very punctual and informative. They told me exactly what they were going to do and how they would do it. They then proceeded to do exactly what they said. When they were doing the second vent in the attic, they found something loose around the vent pipe. They sealed that for me properly even though it wasn't part of their scope of work. If you're considering Capital City, you don't have to worry about anything once you've decided they're the way to go. The people are very, very professional and friendly. They are very aboveboard about everything. They do exactly what they say they are going to do, and they do it in a very professional manner! more

Excellent 1/11/2014

Our solar tube was installed the Friday after Christmas. The installer arrived when he was scheduled. After a brief discussion as to where to place "the tube", (We are having our bathroom remodeled.) it took him about three hours to do the job, I assume. I had to leave and had no reservations leaving the installer here alone. When I got home, as I walked up the steps, I remember thinking the workers left the light on in the bathroom!! The tube lets so much light into the bathroom. I love it, and the experience was so positive I have no problem recommending Capital Lighting to anyone who asks. more

Great job done in fewer hours than estimated 1/9/2014

Todd came out to inspect what we wanted and recommended tubes for our hallway, office and master bath. The guys arrived on the day set on time, broke down the jobs we wanted, sometimes overcoming the quirks of our post-and-beam constructed ranch and completed their work in less time than they anticipated. The new tubes really light up the dark hall and office. We're so happy that we plan to have them add another tube in the hall. more

Love the product, felt rushed to make up my mind and schedule. 12/12/2013

Pretty seamless experience. 12/2/2013

Capital City Daylighting provided two of the Solatubes in our house. They got them installed on the same day that they had said they would. They stuck to the time frame and price during the whole experience. There weren't any hidden charges or delays, so it was all pretty smooth. more

Love the additional light and cleanliness of work 12/2/2013

I'm very pleased with the light the solatube provides in the center of my house. The installer was very neat, and was delayed 30 minutes due to something out of his control but called to let me know that. The only thing that wasn't perfect is that the drop-door into my attic isn't entirely back in place and I don't own a ladder tall enough to take care of it myself. more

Excellent! Very happy! 11/12/2013

I was very happy with Capital City Daylighting and want more lights installed! I have already shown four or so people what I had done, and now they want to hire Capital City too. Both of the gentlemen I initially contacted were very nice. The man I talked on the phone to was very friendly, and I was very pleased with him. I was also very pleased with the gentleman who came out to do the work for us. My mother and I were pleased with the work he did. The man who did the work was very nice to deal with. As females, we felt very comfortable with him in our home. He installed two lights for us. One in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. Now we want more! I think we'll get one in the puzzle room next! more

Professionally installed daylight 11/10/2013

We had three tubes put in areas with no windows. Luckily it is a ranch house making installation easier than normal. I would recommend to anyone having the funds to get them! The light coming in on a sunny day is amazingly bright and on cloudy days still helpful. more

From the whole presentation of the products to the installation and the explanation of the product as they were installing it to all of the paperwork at end of the project: everything was good. I had a great experience and I would highly recommend them. They were very friendly and informative. more

I hired Capital City Daylighting to install vents in my home. I chose them because to put it simply, they were really nice people to work with. They did a very good job with the installation. Everyone I worked with was polite. It took them about five hours to complete the installation. It was good experience, and I might even get them to do more work for me. more

Excellent Service 10/2/2013

I emailed asking for information on getting a Solotube fixed after roofers had broken it. Capitol City called and set up a time to inspect and fixed it on my schedule. They worked hard as it was quite hot in the attic and access is not easy. But it was fixed in a couple of hours and now is even better than new (they added a feature). Very satisfied. more
