My husband worked there regretably last year. He was let go because all the cards were stacked against him in my opinion by a lead & an avionics manager that believed that from my observation and opinion that this lead could do no wrong, even if wrong was voiced against him. My husband saw this lead fired a few years ago at a different aviation shop they worked in & knew all the circumstances around it. My husband in my opinion was a threat towards this man because of what he knew. It had been a year since my husband was let go and had any communication with the avionics manager. My husband heard that this particular manager got promoted. My husband wanted to call and had ONLY wanted to congratulate him, my husband was trying to be an adult about things and be nice. I thought it was a mistake to even say anything. Because in our opinion we could not trust this manager, when my husband did call it was on speaker phone for our own protection of at least having a witness and I heard every word said. According to an employee there at Captial Aviation this manager came out after the conversation with us and stated that my husband had asked for his job back. Let's get something clear, My husband NEVER asked for his job back & I wouldn't have allowed him to go back there, period. He is not that desperate & in my opinion neither am I to allow him to. I am SO glad that my husband does NOT work at Captial Aviation and in my opinion I would NOT wish employement there on my worst enemy. I did want to voice an opinion against this aviation manager but in my opinion if I ever confronted him as my husband did by just merely wishing him congratulations I would be afraid of whatever I said being taken totally in my opinion out of context just as my husbands brief converstion was according to this Captial Aviation employee. So with this in mind I think this is the best way to send up a red flag without it being taken out of context for what is clearly written in black and white.
Pros: thumbs down
Cons: thumbs down
