Great Family Fun! 8/20/2005

My kids love this place. It is not very big, but there are many different things for the kids to do. There are areas for a variety of ages to play and learn. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small gift shop area with reasonably priced items. I was nannying in the area so I got a membership which more than paid for itself. With the open layout, I was able to have one playing on the boat, one on the train, and one in the kitchen without losing sight of anyone. The kitchen would be my only warning as the fake food gets chewed on quite a bit. The kids would stay as long as I’d let them. It was great for the colder months for them to burn off energy, make friends, and have fun. They have story time, do crafts with the kids and have a nice calendar of events. I definitely recommend them. more

Children's Museum good for small kids 8/18/2005

The Cape Cod Children's Museum is a good place to take small kids (maybe 7 and younger) on a rainy day. Older children will be bored at the museum. There is a big boat in the middle of the museum. There are also small areas with things like kitchen play stuff, dress up stuff, and building stuff that kids can play with. There are several other things to do at this museum, but it is very small. Don't expect to spend the whole day there. My son was bored after about one hour. more
