We have gone to Canyon Park Vet Hospital for over six years for our cats and one year with our dog. We usually see Monica Vaughn, and she is a true animal lover. She explains everything down to the small details. She really enjoys working with animals and you can tell by her knowledge, thorough diagnosis and training tips. more

Our lab was experiencing seizures and foaming at the mouth. I rushed her to Canyon Park Vet Hospital because of the close location to our home (we had never been there before). They IMMEDIATELY rushed her in and discovered that she had eaten slug bait. Dr. Vaughn had our lab stay at her home for a sleepover to take care of her. They were able to stop her seizures and rid her body of the toxins that would have killed her. WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR DR. VAUGHN AND HER AMAZING STAFF! We cannot Thank You enough! We are now happy clients of Dr. Vaughn's. more

We really like this vet. We've taken our new puppy there for the last 8 months--since he was 8 weeks old. (That would be 4 or 5 visits.) The provide excellent care and are about 30% less expensive than the place we had been using. I'm not a physician (for either pets or people), so I'm no expert, but the quality of care seems to be at least as good if not better than most vets we've used. Pros: Friendly, Efficient, Informative, Caring, Inexpensive Cons: What's not to like? more

We can highly recommend Canyon Park Veterinary Hospital. We relocated to WA 2 years ago and have been clients of this practice ever since. Dr Monica Vaughn is the best veterinarian we have ever had. She is a compassionate, knowledgeable and pragmatic veterinarian. We have always felt extremely comfortable with her as she always takes her time to explain things in detail and we never get the feeling that she is rushing to make a diagnosis or recommending procedures or medications that are not necessary. Tom, Amy and all her other staff are friendly, caring and all clearly love animals. The prices for all their services are reasonable and we can also highly recommend their kennel, they took excellent care of our Mastiff, Augustus, on every occasion when he stayed there. We've been going to this vet for close to 20 years, and are very happy with their services, knowledge, professionalism and products. The office is small and could use remodeling, but we've never had second thoughts about taking our dogs and cats there for diagnosis, treatment, misc. care, and boarding. There are quite a few people that work there, so you're bound to find some that are friendlier than others, but the prices are reasonable, the hours are good for accomodating working customers, and we've always been satisfied that they knew what they were doing. Pros: Services, hours, reasonable prices, knowledgeable. Cons: Minimal parking, small reception area. more

We recently took our puppy to the Canyon Park Vet Hospital and were completely disappointed. Not only does the vet have an attitude, she brushes off any questions you have. She treats people like they are idiots. For first time pet owners, we had lots of questions. She actually shut the door in my face when I tried to follow her to weigh him. She didn't offer any explanation that I couldn't follow her, or apology that it happened. I would suggest finding a different Vet, because this place is also dank and dirty...just like the people who work there. It is obvious the doctor is a vet because she has no people skills. Seriously, stay away from this place. Pros: NO PROS! Cons: Everything about this place makes me vommit! more
