Cantu Martial Arts

Enrolled my teenage sons in bjj/mma at Cantu Martial Arts. I've been taking both my boys to martial arts classes since they were 6 & 9 years old. \r They've trained in there fair share of schools in Houston. That being said, Mr Joseph Cantu is probably one the best in my opinion. He is professional, communicates well and has a unique ability to get what he is teaching across to his students.\r His dojo is always clean, almost to clean and smells great. Trust me not everyone cleans their mats like they do here and that says alot.\r They boys simply cannot stop talking about going to class or jiu jitsu or mma and they've been there 7 months now. I have notices brazilian jiu jitsu houston is really spreading. If i may say so Cantu Martial Arts does a great job with their program.\r more

The person with the long nasty review had no problems (we have the emails saying ""Kevin does not want hunter to quit"")with the services or instruction until he and his wife had financial problems (we have those emails too). THey willfully paid 10 months on a 12 month agreement they signed through an EFT company that basically financed their family's lessons. They failed to pay and now are upset the company they used put it on their credit report. THey also had long periods of never bringing their son to class. We dont teach ""mexican aztec karate"" we teach bjj of which i clearly state i am a purple belt on my website. We also teach Cuaucalli which is a system i developed after 27 years and many different black belt degrees later. The name given to this art is in tribute only to the Aztecs. I had my kids training with Cantu for 1 year and then we moved. My kids tried a few schools in clear lake but they were'nt the same.\r \r We just moved back and signed up for another year. Joseph Cantu is an excellent instructor! My kids lovve going there 2 or 3 timess per week. That's the key.\r \r My son and daughter were a little shy when they started. They've improved their grades in school and have much more confidence now since studying martial arts.\r \r I recommend Cantu Martial Arts to everyone! Pros: Great Instructor more
