They Made My Birthday Great 2/21/2010

Tonight, my family and I dined at Cantina Laredo in Addison. It was a delicious dinner and the people there were very gracious. Apparently, we were the last table sat before they closed but we did not know this until we had ordered dinner. I asked the server what time they closed and discovered we only just made it in time to order. I have always felt awkward about walking into a restaurant so late, but the entire staff and manager were so nice to us. We were never rushed and never made to feel like we were in the way. I’ve eaten at other places and sometimes they’ll turn up the lights or turn off the music. Not here, though! It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we were made to feel welcome, not intrusive. I just want to say thank you to Cantina Laredo in Addison for making my birthday a wonderful celebration. I will definitely come back and I will also recommend this place to my friends. They are outstanding and thanks again!! Pros: Totally gracious staff Cons: I showed up at closing & received outstanding service more

Great Folks, Great Food & Great Atmosphere 2/12/2010

I travel to North Dallas several times a year---specifically to Addison, TX--- and I just started staying at the Holiday Inn Express off Beltway Dr. On my third night there I wanted Mexican food. I asked the front desk for a recommendation and they suggested Cantina Laredo. Almost immediately, this restaurant became my hangout for the entire time I was in town.\r \r I loved the food and I loved the authentic Texas hospitality I received. The entrees are extraordinarily delicious and due to my extended stay, I was able to try several items on the menu: enchiladas, carne asada, sea bass and the tableside guacamole. At every visit, I was totally impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the quality of the food. \r \r A few times I sat at a table and several times at the bar. Both areas provided top-notch service. By the second visit they already recognized me and initiated conversations with me. My contact with Cantina Laredo included servers, bartenders and managers. I would go as far as to call them casual friends. They totally understood how to make a person feel welcome.\r \r I highly recommend Cantina Laredo in Addison to any business traveler in North Dallas. It's worth a visit......and in my case, it was worth several visits!!!\r Pros: The Friendliest People in N Dallas Cons: I Wish I Could Visit Longer more

Wonderful service & Delicious Fook 1/17/2010

Cantina Laredo in Addison was recommended by the staff at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel (always follow their recommendations). When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Their salsas are so yummy. We especially loved the warm salsa although the cold salsa was great too. Next we ate on of the best sauteed Sea Bass that I have ever eaten. My husband ordered the Camaron Poblano Asada. He ate everything but the stem of the poblano pepper. It was a wonderful visit topped off by the Mexican Apple Pie, which was presented tableside just like our guacamole. Everything was just top-notch and I highly recommend Cantina Laredo to anyone visiting North Dallas. Pros: We were sat immediately Cons: The margaritas got me tipsy more

Overpriced, bad service, bad food, bill was padded. 11/21/2008

All food was bad. The Quacamole - overpowering lime but otherwise bland. The queso. Too hot, masked cheese flavor. The Steak - OMG, how much salt do they think we can take? The vegetables - undercooked. And to add insult to injury, they added an item to the bill that should not have been there. There were 3 of us and none of us liked this place. Pros: None observed Cons: Service, Food, Overbilling more
