CANTERBURY TEXACO - A Canterbury intatution for decades 11/7/2018

All good things must come to an end, I am soo sorry to see it had to be Canterbury Texaco. I was a customer of theirs for years and had all my work done their, bought 3or 4 cars through Odie and Mike over the years. A business model others should consider following, honest, fair, customer oriented - you know those basic things that allow you to run a very successful business for 30 + years. Ripoff Artists 11/28/2015

These a holes couldn't put together a set of lincoln logs. Mike Morris sold me a used car that Blue Booked at good condition for $1,200. He sold it to me for $1,900, and aid he had fixed it up. Car needed $2,300 worth of work and was undrivable after a week, I had to junk it. $1,900 down the drain. I tried to get him to help me with the situation and since he had his money he didn't care. Leave these dirtbags alone and you will not be sorry. more

Tyler and Troy Rock! 2/5/2009

This is the only place in Richmond where I will get gas. The boys that pump gas, I believe their names are Troy and Tyler, are very sweet and well mannered. They treat every customer with respect and do a good job. One time when I was pumping gas my dog jumped out of the car window. Troy and Tyler risks their lives and ran out in the street after my poor puppy. Thanks to them Princess is still safe and sound. I recommend this gas station to my friends all the time, great service at a great price! more

A rare gem: Quality service and people. 8/26/2005

Canterbury Texaco, located in the far west end of Richmond on the corner of Patterson Avenue and Pump Road, is a Richmond institution. They have served the area for more than 25 years and offer exceptional service at a fair price. If you are a regular customer and find yourself stranded, the owner will gladly tow your car (within a reasonable distance) for free. The mechanics are trustworthy and dependable. This is especially helpful if you are not knowledgeable (like me) about cars. more
