Canine Companions is THE best place to take your dog in Bloomington. Hands down. Not only do they provide every service that any respectable pet owner could require, they also take what they do to a whole new level with professionalism and quality pet care. I am a long time client of Canine Companions and will do a quick break down of all of their services. Day Care - $10.00 a day two levels big dogs/small dogs. The big dogs are "babysat" by someone all day and never left unattended. Boarding - I always get the traditional kennel with day care added on. I did get the Indoor/Outdoor kennel when my dog had stitches so he could still go outside but was not able to play with the other dogs. Training - Group classes are wonderful, learned a lot and would go again if I ever got another dog. Bryan really knows what he is doing and I would recommend him to anyone. Grooming - The groomer at Canine Companions is top notch. She knows exactly how we like him to look She is very professional and handles my crazy dog with no problems at all. My dog always comes home smelling good, and looking great. Veterinarian - Probably the best Vet in town, she knows her stuff and ALWAYS takes the best care of our guy, she also takes the time to get to know us and never ever talks down to us. In short don't take my word for it go take a tour. As far as all of these silly claims of dogs getting to stinky or small injuries all I have to say is DOGS WILL BE DOGS. Period. It is not Canine Companions fault that dogs run hard play hard and get stinky thats what they are going to day care for to get to be DOGS!! more

I wanted to let everyone know that I switched to Canine Companions from another boarding facility and have had nothing but a great experience. I have used the boarding, daycare, and even started using the vet there. I like knowing they have a vet there. I like the condition my dog comes home in. She seems to really enjoy it there. Be wise when you read review pages because I have to say that I really have a hard time believing any one time visitors. Believe what you like but I have had a great experience and my friends that have been going to Canine Companions have had great experiences too. I also want to say that when I walked in the first time to ask about boarding they took me around the place and showed me everything. They didn't have anything to hide. I would say go by and check it out. more

I took my dog here awhile back to spend a few nights while I was going to be out of town. He stayed for 2 nights and three days. It's $16.50 a day for his size dog (big) and I had to pay for a shot and I also bought him an outside play package for one of the days. He seemed to enjoy himself, but he had bloody knees and elbows when I picked him up. I am not sure what that means, maybe they don't pay close attention to what the dogs are doing. Unfortunately he can;t tell me. Maybe he just played hard with the other dogs. more
