I brought my golden puppy to Dr. Canfield's office for many year when I still lived in Seattle. I loved him for the kindness,care he truly is the best animal doctor I have ever met. i now live on an Island off the East Coast with horrible care for our animals. when we are losing our pets left and right from poor health care, and vets that do not care.Would love for Dr,Canfield to come to out fair Island of Nantucket,,,we need you! meanwhile this situation is so bad I have thought of moving back to Seattle.Anyway, best to you Dr.Canfield, you set the bar high. The best vet I've known 1/27/2009

I can't say enough nice things about Dr Canfield. Even my nervous dog and my cats are relaxed around him. He is one of those talented doctors who can look at your pet, listen to what you have to say and then know what is wrong without lots of expensive tests. He is as good with the owners as he is with the pets and has gone above and beyond to give me information on not only my pets, but my desire to pursue a career in canine rehab and animal behavior. more

My dog loves this man - and so do I 6/22/2005

My dog actually gets excited to go to this clinic and when Dr. Canfield examines him, my dog is so relaxed you would think that he is getting a delightful back rub or some other delightful treat. Dr. Canfield is so loving and gentle that sometimes I am envious of my dog. The other thing that I appreciate is that I never feel rushed by Dr. Canfield. He is guinely interested in your concerns and listens with a very patient ear. He also takes his time in explaining things to you and speaks at your level to make sure that you fully understand things. I might also mention that everyone at this clinic is cheerful, patient and understanding. I mean it when I say that my dog like going there. He gets lots of attention there. more

Dr. Canfield is a great vet! 7/16/2004

Dr. Canfield is the best here. We all sit on the floor with the dog and our dog doesn’t even know he is being examined. Every time we take our dog here he is very excited to go. more
