irresistable selection of jewelry 7/8/2008

ever since I have discovered candy plum I have been having a prolem, love this place so much it is dangerous. Besides having great selection of dresses, tshirts ,and bags the jewelry selection is just irresistable. when you stop by make sure to get on their mailing list, they just had the most amaizing wekend sale! my favorite purchase was a hot pink paisley dress which was even featured in the astoria fashion show last month. Pros: always something new , new merchandise weekly Cons: not open on mondays or tuesday during the summer more

i moved to astoria about 1 year ago. in a year i have been to all the boutiques and i find candy plum as the cutest and one of the best . i buy all my gifts at this boutique . from domino charms that are made in canada to leather cuffs made in columbia. i also fell in love with a designer called nicole rae styer all her dresses are handmade and wow is all i can say . more

hours on website are inaccurate. 6/10/2008

after seeing some cute stuff in their window while going to visit a friend, figured I'd stop by when they were open to purchase a few pieces I saw in the window. the website says they are open until 7. I showed up almost 2 hours before and the store was closed! no note or explanation if they'd return or why the door was locked with no one inside. not a great business ethic. very disappointed. but if you can get them when they're actually open, the clothing looks cute. more

cutest store in astoria 4/3/2008

i recently stumbled across the cutest store in astoria ever. its called cany plum. they carry handmade jewlery awesome tshirts and great bags. bought myself a dress from a designer called superlucky cat and a bag from a designer who calls herself 144 collection. the customer service was perfect and i got a free pair of earrings with my purchase. they are down the block from loveday 31 which is always good and il bambino . how can you go wrong. the owner is super sweet . i have been back 3 times this month alone. \r more

Candy Plum is the best boutique in Astoria 6/20/2007

I'm a guy and even i like going to this boutique because it has one stop shopping for all my girlfriends. clothing, jewelry, home accessories. You name it and Candy Plum has got it. Everything for even the most particular of palates. All the girls that work there are super friendly and knowledgeable in helping me find something that is juts right for each of my girls. The only problem is how do i not tell them all about this place...? Pros: Tons and tons of quality handmade merchandise. Cons: Nothing much to speak of more

Beautiful Store-Every inch of this tiny boutique is filled with treasures. I stop in every week. Got the best dress and necklace last week got tons of compliments!! Every piece is so one of a kind!! Both owners are too nice they really spend the time with you if you need help with any purchase. I usually stop in on weekends and am always welcomed with a smile!!! The biggest downfall in this place is I usually spend at least a hour in there theres just too much great stuff to pick from LOL \r \r Love the new baby section the clothes are gorgeous!!! Pros: Great Selection more
