On June 25, 2012 I went to the Candy Jar to buy Chocolate covered caramels like I do every year. When I got home I tried some, come to find out they had peanuts in the bottom before the chocolate. I called them the next day and asked why they didn't mark them as having peanuts in them. The girl told me that sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't, but the company they came from didn't mark them so they never know when they do and when they don't. This is very bad business as it could cost someone allergic to peanuts their life. I know I have allergies to many things. I won't go there again. Hopefully this review will get the owner's attention and she will do something about it. Also, hopefully this will keep someone from losing their life because of misrepresentation. more

I LOVE candy so I love this store! They've got a great selection--it's hard to find any other candy store in the Cities with this much variety. It tastes great too. I think that it is so great that that I can get my chocolate fix and load up on great traveling candy in the same place! I recently got a carmelized popcorn ball here. They offer a variety of flavors and they are all very tasty! more

The Candy Jar is your typical candy store. However, candy stores can be hard to find these days. The Candy Jar as lots of candy, and fancy chocolates. They also have cards and gifts, such as picture frames, small stuffed animals, and the like. They also have a great selection of stuff around the holidays. more
