The staff was very supportive and comforting. They explained what they were doing for our kitten and eventually suggested we go home and rest. They called us later in the morning, as they promised, with details of how our kitten was doing. more

it's all a blur, but I have the distinct impression the building was white inside and clean. More than that, I cannot say, as we were very upset. And I may not even have that right. It was very upsetting going in and very happy going home with our kitten. The staff was very supportive and comforting. They explained what they were doing for our kitten and eventually suggested we go home and rest. They called us later in the morning, as they promised, with details of how our kitten was doing. more

My 5 yr old yellow Lab had ran into something and injured his eye, I didn't realize it until the next morning and wasn't sure of the severity of it, so I rushed him into ECA. Dr. Koeppl checked out his eye with dye and a look see. He assured me that there wasn't any permanent damage to his eye, gave me some drops and sent Dawson home. The entire staff and especially Dr. Koeppl were friendly and very concerned for my dogs well being. I know where I'll be going the next time I need emergency care for my dog, ECA! more

Griffin is 7. The only reason he is alive today is the Emergency Clinic for Animals Sc. While researching on line for a vet today I came across the ratings for this clinic. In 01 Griffin was hit by a car on Monroe street. As we rushed him to the clinic we called ahead and alerted the staff that our 1 year old pooch had been hit and rolled under a car. We were immediately greeted by the staff and Griffin was rushed into the emergency care room. Within minutes Griffin's lungs had collapsed. I'll spare the details, the only reason our dog is alive and sleeping on our water bed is because this dedicated staff saved his life. Sure it was expensive, Emergencies normally are. Griffin lives. more

However, discomfort/vomiting continued accompanied by weight loss so additional diagnostic testing was done-still no determination of what was the problem. It seemed that no one was responding to the immediate health need of our dog-until we met Dr.Koeppl. He immediately assessed our dogs condition, stopped the vomiting and developed a treatment plan. In 36 hours, we had a diagnosis of lymphoma but also had a comprehensive care plan. During this time, the ECA staff were compassionate, caring and responsive to our familys needs both human and K-9! The diagnostic abilities, critical care skills along with the constant focus on the welfare of our pet speaks volumes to the exceptional care that Dr. Koeppl and ECA staff provide 24-7! more

Fantastic doctor, fantastic providers we've brought several found animals (mice, rabbits, bats) and our own pets after the hours of our Candlin Vet and absolutely can't say enough good things about Dr. Koeppl and the others that have helped us through some good and hardest of hard times. more

It's always difficult to make rational decisions about your pet's care and they were sensitive to our feelings throughout the whole experience. I hope we never have to go back (given the nature of the clinic) but it's wonderful to know that they're there. more

They kept us updated about his condition through his stay (a couple days) and we never felt like they were annoyed when we called, even late at night or early morning. He recieved great care and was back to his usual self within a couple days of coming home. It's always difficult to make rational decisions about your pet's care and they were sensitive to our feelings throughout the whole experience. I hope we never have to go back (given the nature of the clinic) but it's wonderful to know that they're there. more
