I've been to 35+ bowling venues in Massachusetts, and this place is not only the worst, but the only bad one. I've had better experiences going to bowling alleys are closed down and no longer open.\r

I wrote the first review for this alley, but, I've changed my mind about the place. I realize I have my own personal grudge that others don't have, but I'm very unhappy with this place. Hey, I need to grow up, but is it amoral to use bumpers once in a while on your lanes? I've used bumpers at other lanes, and I realize those other bowling venues were probably wrong and Candlewood Lanes was right (sarcasm), but, I guess they didn't want my business. They forbid me to use bumpers. \r

The owner/manager took offense when I said that it is tough getting the pins down here. But, it is for me and easier at other places. (Maybe not other people). Not meant to be an insult, but the owner took it personally. \r

I've figured out one hell for me -- if this were the last bowling alley on the planet. I don't know what I'd do. I'd probably do imaginary bowling.
Pros: good place for kids
Cons: bad place for lonesome unemployed, bachelors
