NEVER EVER EVER LIVE HERE.\r First and foremost there are numerous shady business practices going on here. Today is 8/23/2014 by the way so you know when this is written. I will be surprised if they aren't shut down by next year.\r They appear all nice and organized when you come to visit, well that is the complete opposite of what they are. I will give you a list of all of my problems here. A lot of these are breaches I the contract they signed when I moved in and my lawyer has been made fully aware and we are working on compensation.\r Problems:\r 1. Horrible management, can't talk to them, they couldn't give two sh!ts about any resident.\r 2. Lost overage check, I even had the receipt and they made me pay it, ILLEGAL.\r 3. You literally have to have your interactions with them recorded or else you'll never get anywhere with them.\r 4. No security whatsoever. The front gates are open 24/7, there's no night patrol, nothing. breach of contract right here.\r 5. The maintenance have keys to everyone's apartment and everyone's individual rooms. They will come in past 10 PM and before 9 AM. While you're sleeping, and not to mention they're all creepy. My neighbor had a painter that Campus Lodge hired steal her laptop OUT OF HER LOCKED ROOM. And they still didn't fire them... Incredible.\r 6. Have no respect for placing people with people they will get along with. A friend of mine got a 40 year old woman placed with 3 college girls. Lol.\r 7. Business practices are laughable, office staff doesn't know anything. They will tell you so much false information and then when you bring it up to the managers later they will say, and I quote ""they don't know what they're talking about most of the time"". They aren't accountable for anyone there. \r 8. A personal one here and a really low blow. My dad died and I don't have any other family because they're all in a different country. He owned a small business and I'm the only one to either take it over or sell it. I want to take it over in respect for my dad, who was my best friend. So I ask Campus Lodge to let me out of my lease because I need to go back home and run a damn business and they flat out say no. They want me to pay for the entire lease. It's amazing how much nobody cares there. I pleaded and they just don't care. \r 9. Dryer has to be run 3 times to get things dry in every apartment.\r 10. Parties all the time, they lie about the thickness of the walls. I can hear the next building when I'm trying to sleep at 3 AM.\r 11. I was followed back to my room late at night when I was coming back from work by a man saying rape comments (I'm female) and if I didn't take my handgun out and threaten him then I'm fully confident I would have been raped. (I have a concealers permit) this was the scariest moment of my life.\r 12. Pests. Fleas in my apartment when I don't have an animal. Okay.\r 13. Pool was closed for 3 months when it was so nice out. It doesn't take that long to clean a pool. They are completely inconsiderate.\r 14. They slack on absolutely everything. \r \r The list could go on forever. All in all I hope this place gets shut down and everyone there is out of a job. There's zero integrity and no values. I, and many others I know, have vowed to bring this place down. And if you're reading this campus lodge, then yes that is a threat. more

I recently moved out after suffering through 3 and a half years here. My biggest complaint lies with the piss-poor attitudes of the management staff and their gross level of unprofessional business practices. If you move here, I cannot stress enough to you- GET A RECIEPT FOR EVERY PENNY YOU HAND OVER TO THEM!!!! Your money passes through the hands of poorly trained ""Student Leasing Assistants"" before it's ever credited to you account which leaves the door wide-open for lost checks. Two of my utility payments and one entire rent check were ""missplaced"" by their hands in the span of 6 months. Unacceptable.\r \r Aside from making your life a living hell finantially, there is little to no effort put forth in the process of matching roommates in a unit. I, for example, am a drug-free non-smoker (which you are asked about on the application), Two cocaine addicts and one Pot dealer were placed in my apartment during my stay and no attempt at resolving this issue was made by the office.\r \r I have alo had my window broken and property stollen out of my car, along with vaulables stollen right out of my livingroom. The security contractors they hire to man the ill-functioning front gate are jokes. They read books all night and open the gate for anyone, regardless of whether or not they live there.\r \r To sum things up. MOVE ALONG! This property is not worth a second look, or your hard earned money. There are plenty of other housing options in this neighborhood. more

Bad place to live.\r \r there was 2 shootings this year... many roberies... all during Broad daylight.\r no security like they promise.. the gates were'nt in use for like the first 3months.. untill the shootings.\r \r bad management... they are real a**holes to the residents for any issue.\r \r 1st impression.. when you move in (we moved in 25th 3 days before classes.. when in the lease it states move in date to be on the 15th.) the entire apartment was FILTHY. dust.. hair.. even leaves. the a/c vents were BLACK. fans were dusty. carpet was nasty. bathroom with soap sc um.. pretty much they didnt touch it after last residents.\r also ac was broken.. took 2 days for it to get it fixed. Drier broke one time.. took 5days to fix.\r Maintanence guys are pretty nice.. some of them. but everyone in the front office are RUDE. the girls most are all snobby B****.. the management are just pure a**holes.. unbelievable how they can treat residents so bad.\r would not recommend this to anyone.\r also bad parking situation ESPECIALLY for visitors. they tow here big time.. so be aware.\r \r find somewhere else to live.\r \r almost forgot... they cut off our internet yesterday July 17th.. when we still have about 26 days on our lease... FREAKING RIDICULOUS!!!! this info was confirmed by brighthouse themselves.. i called them. Pros: big room.. nice mirrors..big showers... nice pool. Cons: EVERYTHING. trash right outside ur door.. flies everywhere.. bad management.. roachs.. filthy room when u first move in. oh and did i mention management? more
