Amazing Place to Shop in the City 8/4/2011

We were looking for Hammocks in the City and couldn't find any shop until we came across CampingStation Website and called them, They invited us to their Warehouse and showed us all styles they have, and they had many to choose from and they helped me make my decision, We were extremely impressed with their service, Their Office is located near the trains in Ridgewood, (Border of Brooklyn) Very convenient from Manhattan, So we had a great time... more

Air Beds in The City 1/25/2011

Searching for a Camping Store in the City became almost impossible, Needing an Air Mattress immediately for guest I almost ran out of luck if not I found Camping Station's online Store, We contacted them by phone and actual people answered the phone, (unusual these days) and we're not only helpful but offered we should come down to their warehouse and choose a bed and pick it up, We appreciated their service and their prices too. more

Bait and Switch...advertise one price, switch it to another later 7/11/2006

I made a large $600 order. Placed it, got a confirmation email. Then they call and say there is no way they can do it for the stated price, and shipping will be much much more. I had no choice but to cancel my order..but its an interesting way to collect people's credit card information. Buyers, beware when giving your information to this company. Prices and shipping calculators on this site apparently are not what they seem. Pros: Wow! a good advertised price Cons: Wow! They switched prices after getting my credit card information. more
