The site had barely enough room for our 4 person tent to fit between the posts. The picnic table had to be placed right near the fire pit due to lack of room so that smoke was constantly in face. I understand that the posted speed is 5mph, but to chase down a vehicle cause it's going 8 (I saw what I am 98% sure to be a radar gun in their office) and not give him a chance to apologize or respond, on a first offense, slightly overboard. In her yelling she told him that visitors were required to be out by 9:30 even though it's posted as being 10pm in the office. They approached me about my speed and when I commented saying that I might have been going a little over but that I was busy concentrating on the kids that were riding their bikes and playing catch, their response "You need to watch your speed more carefully". Really? what's more important watching your speed or watching for kids all over the place? They consistently questioned how many people we had staying the night, told us our music had to be turned off 1/2 hour before quiet time despite not realizing we had music on, until they stopped to talk to us. Oh and Jim, obviously there is no way of proving this, but there was no more than 10 beers consumed on site all weekend (7/1/11 - 7/5/11) and of the three that ended up staying there, I was the only one who was drinking, due to health issues the other two are not able to drink. Scrapped myself diving while playing paddle ball and when my friend went to ask for a band aid she was drilled about how I got the cut, and not once asked if I was ok. People are coming here to relax and enjoy themselves, constantly being accusing them of breaking the rules and threatening to kick them out with little to no understanding is horrible customer service and explains why on a 4th of July weekend in Grand Haven, when nearly ever other place is booked, Hotels and Campgrounds alike I looked, this place was n
