Campbell's Music Service

Campbell's Music has been located on Queen Street ever since I can remember. I always tried to get a peek through the entrance as we drove by. When I became a teenager I had a boyfriend that eventually played in a band, he took guitar lessons when he was a young teenager at Campbell's and loved it. I know many people send their children there for lessons as well as adults. They sell instruments there as well, I'm not an expert on the different brands and styles but Campbell's Music Store is. more

My son and I took up the guitar this summer and wanted to take lessons. We weren’t sure where look. We tried one of the big Chain stores in the area, but found them less than helpful. We heard about Campbell’s and gave them a try. They were very interested in helping us get started and hooked us up with instructors right away. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. They always greet you when you come into the store. Where do you find that these days? The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help out the novice and pro alike. Campbell's Music Service located on Route 74 South between York and Dallastown is a guitar lovers paradise. I should know - both my son and husband play and take lessons there! They have a huge selection to choose from. Having been in business for over 40 years, they really know their stuff! They offer sales, trades and they buy instruments. They also offer repair services as well as lessons from one of the many talented instructors on hand! Prices are a little higher, but they're a small locally owned business - that's worth paying a little extra! Parking is limited and behind the building. It's best to back into your space. more
