Pizza Quest 1/2/2011

Truth be told, more than a few Floridians were originally raised in Northern Communities with a pizza place on every corner. I've been here 20 years. Recently, I was dissapointed gravely by a pizza place I considered to be the best in the county. I had not had Campenella's in 20 years since I first got here. I would say it was the best I have had in quite a while. I concur with an earlier review. Toppings were genorous, crust was pretty perfect, sausage was slivers of real sausage, onion were just the right cut, to me, toppings can ruin a pizza if they are not quality and properly proportioned. Very happy with my pizza and would visit again. more

Dinner Out 6/7/2009

We've eaten there several times with the family and the pizza has been consistent however, during our last visit, the calzone was a joke with little or no topping, the eggplant was hard and rubbery and their marinara sauce is WAAY overcooked!!!!! When approaching management about the calzone, one the owners replied, ""I talk too much""!. We'll never visit again and make certain the word gets out as well. They'll be out of business, sooner than later, we can ALL hope! Pros: Ok pizza Cons: Poor management, customer service and inferior italian food more

Campanella's is THE BEST 1/25/2008

This pizza is THE BOMB!!! The crust is thin and nice yet soft inside , the toppings smothers the top , you see every topping you order in plentiful amounts ..... its so good that you will eat the last bite even though you are full . The sauce is nice and spicy yet it doesn't cover up the taste of all the toppings , its a blend that just melts in your mouth . Pros: you feel you're sitting in Momma's Italian dinning room Cons: you may have to wait , because its so good more

Get the Chicken special 6/22/2006

They have a special that you can always order even if it is not listed on the daily specials. It's called Chicken Fiut. It's so so so good. Butter sauce with tender chicken, mushrooms, onion and bacon with angel hair pasta. I went there for lunch on my birthday and found this dish. That was present enough. Went back a week later and had it again. I'll try the pizza next time, it does look good. Pros: Good food, large menu Cons: Closed on Sunday more

The BEST Pizza in Pinellas Park 1/11/2006

Campanella's Restaurant offers a lunch special where, for less than the price of a hamburger basket, you get 2 slices of pizza from a 16 inch pie sliced into 6 pieces, and a tall drink. I like their lemonade which has a fresh taste. Their pizza is rolled on cornmeal rather than flour which gives it a traditional New England flavor. This I consider a best buy.
