Camp Woof

I am really surprised to see all of these great reviews, and let me say, MAYBE I will go back based on what I'm seeing. Everyone deserves a second chance, but my first impression was awful. When I arrived, I looked through the window and the guys in the back were shushing the dogs (which, I'm pretty sure that dogs have no idea what that means) and just screaming my dogs name in hopes that he would come. Not only that, and maybe I missed the big back yard or something, but the space looked kind of small for that many dogs? I will say, the lady at the front was very sweet and shared some feedback on my pup, which always makes me feel like they are paying attention. So, thumbs up there. When I got in the car, I realized that my dog was drenched in urine. I understand that it happens and it's hard to prevent, but he was completely soaked and they didn't even address the issue with me? Overall, he was tired when he got home so I guess I can't complain. Might try again in hopes for better experience. more

Just a really good place to take your dog. I feel very safe leaving my two Beagles there for a few days. I just hate that you fill up so fast on a holiday.\r \r I already made my X-Mas reservations! Pros: the staff is wonderful Cons: they fill up to fast on a holiday more

Camp Woof is the only place I will leave my two dogs. If they can't take care of them- we don't leave town. The doggie day care is great. My dogs know when we're getting close and they start whining and get very excited. The camp cam is awesome when you're at work. You can log on and see how your pups are doing. Mara, a manager I think, is amazing and knows a ton about dogs. Your dogs have to be friendly- aggressive dogs not allowed! Pros: They'll love your dogs almost as much as you do more

My dog absolutely loves to go to Camp Woof. She loves this place so much that she drags me into the building every time I take her there. This is the only day camp and boarding facility that she has ever been so excited to visit, so I drive from Sugar Hill to Decatur just to take her to Camp Woof. The staff is amazing and so friendly. And most of all I love the ""Woof Cam"" that allows me to check on my dog Daisy, whether she is there for the day or while I am on vacation. more

Even though there are dog daycare/boarding facilities right down the road from me, the service Camp Woof provides is definitely worth the couple of extra miles it takes me to get to Decatur. Whenever my dog arrives at Camp Woof, she's always greeted by name and with lots of hugs. And whenever I pick her up, I always receive an informal report on what she did that day. The staff has a great relationship with my dog, and they also have a great relationship with me--even if I call them five times a day when my dog is there, they always find time to talk with me and answer my questions. My dog loves Camp Woof, he goes for 'daycare' once a week and gets lots of attention & excercise while I'm @ work. They have a roomy, clean facility & the staff is great! more
