I should have known something was wrong when I called to make kennel arrangements for my dog and cats. I asked how I should package their food. Anne, the owner, said, ""You don't need to bring food, we have enough here."" I ignored her comment and brought their food anyway. Two days later my healthy Newfoundland was dead. We had a necropsy done and the results clearly showed this wasn't a natural death. The doctor said he probably died of heat stroke. Anne did mention he kept knocking over his water. Yeah, he does that and then lays in it to cool off! Did they even bother to refill it? Here's the kicker...they charged me for the two nights he was there!!! Plus, they charged me for my three filthy cats. Their carriers were so nasty that I didn't recognize them. And it took a week before the smell on my cats was finally gone. By the way, when I picked up my cats, they showed no remorse; they said nothing about my dog. So sad. He was such a big part of our family. My children are in tears. Within one week after returning home, I can't tell you how many horrible stories I've heard about this place. Good friends of ours also kenneled their dog there. He came home in terrible shape. He wouldn't stop drinking water and kept throwing up. Run, do not walk away from this place! What they do to animals is criminal.
Cons: Stinky, filthy, animals returned in bad shape
