Camp Pedernales

Had a most relaxing time. Rented the large cabin that sleeps eight ++++. Pros: Cabins were fully furnished Cons: Nothing to complain about more

For the past 20+ years we have a LARGE GROUP that meets at or around Lake Travis for a week of rest and relaxation. A couple of years ago we discovered Camp Perdernales and decided to try it out. A camp site near the water with access and view to your boat is rare on the lake. It is also difficult to find a place large enough to accomidate our group where we don't disturb the neighbors. Sun/shade/boat launch/dock/watersport/view all wonderful. Full electrical/water hook-ups but no sump or shower available at site (huge drawback) but they do have 2 cabin rentals available. With that exception, we had a wonderful vacation with family and friends. Peaceful, large area to set up our gathering place for games and dinners. As long as Mother Nature cooperates, this will be our spot in another 52 weeks. Pros: Location, Cons: no sump or shower avail on site more
