Camp Paradise Pet Resort

VERY disappointed in this facility. I had been going there a few months now, however every time I come to get my pet, he appears not well cared for. Recently I had him groomed after his visit and his skin was raw. The cut was VERY unprofessional and he did not even resemble his breed. It is easy to fall for the reduced rates as their prices are very comparable, however, you get what you pay for. I simply do not trust them. more

When we drive up to Camp Paradise to drop our two dogs off for a vacation, they jump out of the car. They LOVE to stay over night or a week or two. more

Well. I picked up my babies (MiMI and CoCo) They were happy to see me as I was to see them. They lost a little weight only becuase this was their 1st time there and it was for 5 days therefore it was an adjustment period and they feed them twice per day. I was advised they both did very well together in their pods. MiMi had a little redness under her neck from pulling on the leash but nothing major. I would recommend the bath treatement available for a few extra bucks! LOL! I observed as one of the kennel workers let the dogs out for their morning potty, he cleans thier POD and rinse right outsife thier POD area. Then once the doggie has finished thier business they are put back in their Kennel and the next Kennel is opened to repeat the same. Overall I was satisfied and will definetly use this service again. This was our first year to have a dog that needed to be kenneled. Camp Paradise was recommended by many friends and it turned out to be the most reasonably priced for what they offer. Our dog not only had a good amount of his own personal space, but he also had free roaming time twice a day outside and slept in his own kennel in the AC. They also offered to feed him or we could bring in our own food. Above all this, the people are very personable and you can tell that they truly love dogs. more

My family has used Camp Paradise Pet Resort for 5 years now after receiving a recommendation from our veterinarian. The staff is very friendly and genuinely loves animals. Our Saint Bernard gets a little nervous about the noise level when we drop him off, but he seems to quickly acclimate and is in great spirits when we return. I especially love that each of the "rooms" has an opening to allow the dogs easy access to the outside! An optional $10 shampoo is also available just before pickup so your pet will return smelling fresh and clean! more

I was unasy at first about leaving my Lab, Berry at a kennl while we were out of town. He is of course part of our family! As soon as we walked through the door we were greated by smiling faces. They offered a tour of the kennel. It was very clean and organized. I could tell this was the place for Berry. They gave us great customer service and I have been taking my pets there for 3 years. Oh and did I mention great rates! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my pets. I would recommend them to anyone! Pros: Clean facility! Great customer service! Low rates! Cons: They are a little far from where I live but the drive is worth it!!!! more

We've been boarding our pet at Camp Paradise for years and would not consider anyplace else. Our Lab is getting older and requires special attention and we feel confident in knowing that she being left in the care of confident staff. I would recommend Camp Paradise as a " 4 star resort" for boarding your pets. more

This is one of the best boarding kennels I have ever used. My pets are not afraid to go there and the staff know our pets and take good care of them. One of my dogs requires heart medication, and I have no qualms about leaving her and the instructions for her medication with them and feeling comfortable that they will ensure that she gets is as required. I also have a very ornery dog that they deal with and never complain about how cranky he is. These people are great with my dogs and I highly recommend them. more

There is no need to worry about your pets when you leave them here! This is a great place to leave them! They truly know what goes on with your dogs, even though their kennel may be full. The dogs are well cared for, and you can tell that they truly were happy while they stayed there when you pick them up! more

Weboard our dogs here several times a year and it is the best place we have even been to. Our dogs love it and come back tired from all the fun they had. The staff are wonderful and the facilities are nice and very well kept. Pros: Everything - care, attention, cleanliness, cost, etc. Cons: None. more

we have brought our dogs to camp paradise for years. we looked all over the atlanta area, and never looked back once we found camp paradise. our dogs get excited when we drop them off, so we know that our "kids" are well taken care of. the staff is very friendly and flexible if we have to extend the dogs' stay. During football season, I often go back home for the weekends. So when I can't take Peanut with me, I board her at Camp Paradise. Although I cannot personally verify how much play time she gets, I'm pretty sure she enjoyrs herself. Pros: Inexpensive, Clean, Friendly more
