Camp for Paws is a kennel alternative home-based dog boarding and daycare program. Training classes will start January 2015 as of right now.
We recently moved our family to New Hampshire and I decided to start my own training, boarding, rescue and daycare facility for dogs. After working in a kennel and seeing how awful the dogs were being treated I couldn't think of anything else to do. Currently I only do boarding and daycare. It has been a slow and long journey but I will never give up.. My name is Brittany and I currently own a licensed boarding and daycare business in my home which sits on thirty acres of land. I currently attend Penn Foster for dog training and basic veterinary. In the near future I will be offering service dog training(comfort dogs, military dogs,k-9) as well as hunting, agility, competition and basic obedience. Later on I will rescue. I have worked in a training and boarding facility for a year and was not impressed with what I saw. That is one of the main reasons why I now own my own business. Dogs were over crowed and not propery cared for. A lot had to go home early due to getting sick or being too stressed out so I am hoping by watching them in a home enviroment they will be healthier and happier. Aside from my own three I usually have an additional three more. I exercise my dogs as well as clients dogs daily in a number of ways and I try to replicate what you do at home to make the transition easier for them. Special accommodations are welcomed. I do kennel dogs if I have to leave for their safety,it is better that way in case of fights, territory aggression etc you never know but typically they are not crated at night unless they are not yet potty trained. I have a business page on Facebook "Camp for Paws". Please feel free to give me a call and I can answer your questions and concerns. Thank you
