I was looking for a new hairdresser and decided to try this business because they had moved to this new location and it was very nice looking. I walked in and was assigned Mimi. I had an inverted bob cut that I was growing out and asked that she make it a straight bob. I know it's not the easiest cut, but she was an older lady and I assumed she had some experience. She never said the cut was beyond her expertise even though it became clear that she should not be cutting hair at all. I mentioned that she was cutting it shorter than I had asked for and she laughed and said that she had cut it crooked on the other side and was trying to even it out. She went back and forth two more times before I finally just stopped her. The owner was there, looked it over himself, and said it was fine. I was never even handed a mirror to see the back - they just swept me out of the place because they said she had an appointment coming in. I went home and combed it out to assess the damage. I had 3 shanks of hair that were longer than any other place (by like 3 inches - I had to cut those myself just to go to work the next day) and the left side was visibly shorter than the right. I called Philip Pelusi's at the Monroeville Mall and explained my situation. They were able to take me the next day and gave me a stylist that fixed my hair (had to cut EVERYTHING 2 inches shorter to match the left side and shave the back because it was above my hairline at the neck). It was bad enough that a stylist screwed up my hair, but to have the owner brush it off and say it was fine when it clearly was not is ridiculous. I'd give this no stars if I was able. Save yourself the money, trouble, and HAIR; skip a visit to Cammuso's and go somewhere else.
