This stable is very run down-- indeed, it is disgusting. The worst thing about this barn are the politics among the boarders-- certain families seem especially interested in causing drama, and the favorites rule the roost. This has even resulted in threatened legal action among the boarders! This is definitely not a good barn for a young, impressionable girl. more

What a great environment for kids to learn! Marleta really keeps the kids challenged while being positive and loving. She has a great eye for what to expect and what a student needs to work on next. Plus, she really cares about each one as a person. \r My son has learned so much from Marleta. Now he zips and jumps around the arena like a pro! He can't wait for each time that he can go be out at Cameron. It's his very favorite place to be anywhere. \r Everyone is so encouraging to each other and willing to help each other out. It's like one big family -- only better! Pros: Best training. Marleta, Kersten and Jaime really care Cons: It's a bit dirty - but hey, it's a barn! more

Cameron is a great place, with great instructors. Marleta is not very critical, and Jamie really knows a how to teach and ride! The only thing I would do is clean the bathrooms, pastures, and repaint a bit. But hey! It may be in need of a bit of TLC, but the animals are very affectionate, and the Instructors really help you absorb the teaching points. It is a great place for all age riders, any skill level. Cameron is a great place, with great instructors. Marleta is not very critical, and Jamie really knows a how to teach and ride! The only thing I would do is clean the bathrooms, pastures, and repaint a bit. But hey! This is one of the best Equestrian Centers out there! I have been riding there since I was three (nine years) and I am very thankful! Marleta and her daughter Kersten have been nothing but helpful and encouraging throughout my expiriences there. I came there not even knowing how to post, and now I am competing in several shows and events, I am jumping higher than I could have ever imagined, and I am a pretty good rider. Three of my horses (all of them) are from Camerin Equestrian Center. Molly was a Christmas present and she came there from being left in a pasture for years, and when she came to live with me in New York, she was jumping courses without giving a fight. Heidi was purchased as a lesson horse by them and when I started riding her, no one else could. She was sold to my grandparents last year. Dandy is a foal we bought from them last year, with Heidi. This little baby is the best horse I've ever met. If it weren't for his size and shape, you'd think he was a much older, completely broke horse! To wrap this review up, Cameron Equestrian Center is a wonderful place to board/ride at, or purchase/lease a horse from. I fell in love with the place, and the people there are more like family than anything. Sweet and simple - Cameron Equestrian Center has made me the determined Equestrian that I am today! i have been riding at camron equestrian center for 5-6 years and all the horses are great but the helper jamie is so rude and all she does is yell and marleta is grouchy and rude i mean she nice but if you dont pay her shes rude if you dont tell her your going to miss a lesson she wont evan let you make it up she a rrude person that needs to stop worrying about money and teach and also doing your lessons shes on the phone the whole time and her fisilitys are terrible dirty and the pastures need to be mode and she needs to get all the pionty hasserdis weeds out of there and her prices are out rages and she just keeps rasing them if you dont pay on time Pros: the other riders not jamie or marleta Cons: bad trashy properties that are not clean and healthy for your horse more
