Steer clear of this place. Even in desperation, go to Staples a couple of blocks over. This is why some very poor examples of small business owners make it tough for legitimate owners trying to fairly sell their goods. This guy knew he was offering up a scam, an average product, and a long explanation justifying that he was simply taking advantage of customers. I was walking around Boston yesterday on a absolutely beautiful day and realized I had forgotten my data card from my camera. I remembered the Camera Center from a couple of years ago when I encountered 2 nice gentlemen that sold me a strap. So, I walked to Faneuil Hall and went into the store. The nice gentlemen were not there, instead I was helped by this stereotypical salesman/scamster --the type you would expect to be in a touristy area. I was desperate to snap some images of the gorgeous day in Boston so I waited through his scam speech about how an inferior off-brand data card (4gb) was somehow worth $79.95 when I know for a fact (being an experienced photographer) that it is worth no more than $20.00 and that it is in no manner ""the best data card out there"". This guy was marking this product (an probably more items in the store) up to a point that is price gouging, while presenting it in a deceptive manner.
Cons: price gouging, scamming, inferior brand pushing
