For everyone who said the store needed to be bigger, your wish has been granted! Camelot Treasures recently doubled in size by expanding into the store space next door. Now they have even more jewelry, costumes, toys, gifts and all the wonderful things that make this store one of my favorite places in the Triangle. They have Renaissance Faire, Shakespeare, pirate, fairytale, mermaid, medieval, Celtic, costume, gnome, Harry Potter, dragon, and wizard merchandise, with a great selection of gifts for children and adults, including unusual candy, garden statues, chimes, CDs, and handmade wares from local artisans such as pottery and leather goods. And with the expansion, there's a new, larger area for private parties, gaming, music, or other in-store activities. Watch the website for special events - in the past they've had medieval music performances, visits from pirates and Harry Potter nights. I can't wait to do my holiday shopping there, though I suspect I'll end up buying a lot of gifts for myself, too! more

Bring the kids for a fun event, Harry Potter items (wands!), pirates, ...Or leave the kids at home and give yourself plenty of time to browse. Wonderful locally made soaps and pottery, jewelry, music, some medieval costumes. Their website says they can host themed children's parties--I would have LOVED something like that when I was a kid! I hope they expand the store to give more room for their music and storytelling events. Everything is excellent quality, and staff are friendly and very fun. I love this gift shop. It has a wide variety fun and interesting gifts for all ages. I love the Renaissanace music, Harry Potter and Shakespeare gifts. Plus there is live music quite frequently which makes my shopping experience even more special. From mermaid lovers to Pirate fans, new-age to the Medieval age, there are lots and lots of things to see and buy! Pros: Great gift selections for all ages Cons: Need a bigger store! more

Great selection of a variety of different Items from movie stuff to medieval items. I love the different medieval patterns, some great ideas for prom stuff, or a military ball. Love the different music you dont find just about any where else. Hard working staff that bends over backwards to assist you. Love the small concerts from visiting musical artist. One of my favorite stores in the area. Pros: Service, variety, and Ambience Cons: Not enough space to fit every thing, and need to be closer. more

The Triangle finally has a store for me! It's like walking down Diagon Alley. It's amazing all the wonderful things they have at this store - faerie stuff, tons of pirate things, and Harry Potter out the wazoo! The owners are also really nice people, and know their stuff. This is the store for anyone into fantasy, Ren Faire, SCA, Celtic neo-paganism, or just wanting their home to look a little more interesting. Pros: Variety, wonderful atmosphere, it even smells good! Cons: They need a bigger store to pack in even more cool stuff! more
