I wonder if Chris Collinsworth would feel if the same about his ""buddy"" and owner of Carmargo Cadillac, who pays him to endorse the dealership, had Chris's elderly parents been ""ripped"" off like my father, who is in his late 70's and who may be in an early dementia stage. My father had been a long time, loyal customer of Camargo. He went there to trade in his Cadillac for a newer 2009 certified used Cadillac. Bottom line, they talked him into putting $14,000 down in cash and trade on a car they had priced more than $10k over Kelly Blue Book retail and financed the balance on a 6 year note! So when he drove the car off the lot, he was more than $25,000 upside down. I have a new marketing positioning statement for Mr. Collinsworth TV spot, ""Carmargo Cadillac, Where the Elderly Buyer Better Beware!""
