Popular Columbus Restaurant 8/16/2005

Calvert’s Kitchen is a short order restaurant in the southern tradition, with black-eyed peas, mashed taters, hamburgers, BBQ plate, turnip greens prepared as your momma did. Tables are covered with red and white checked oil cloth. This is a popular local restaurant with very reasonable prices. Check the board for daily specials. Open 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday – Saturday. more

Best Country Cooking Around 8/5/2005

Calverts Kitchen is a restaurant here in Columbus that has excellent food at very reasonable prices. They offer all kinds of country cooked meals, including vegetables, steak, and fried fish. The owner is very hospitable, and sees that the level of customer service is very high. It is also a family place and they do have facilities for children, including high chairs etc. more
