I had previously injured my knee while exercising and I could not walk without experiencing severe pain. I had to use crutches, but even with them, I could barely walk. For about three weeks, I had a difficult time getting anywhere and moving even with small steps. I went to doctors who prescribed various pain relievers and medication that did nothing to ease the pain. Finally, I went to see Dr. Kim and after one treatment, my pain disappeared and I was able to slowly walk without my crutches. I am very thankful for Dr. Kim?s treatment as I am now able to move around without intense shooting pain. Each day I walk without my crutches and am happy to say that my knees are pain-free! Dr. Kim truly has a healing gift. more

I have had lower back pain for many years, I have taken Ibuprofen and Tylenol and it never really helped. I recently had severe pain and nothing helped. I was scared about acupuncture at first, but Dr. Kim made me feel comfortable and I tried it. When Dr. Kim treated me for the first time, I felt better right after with no medication. I could bend down and touch my toes with no pain. It is a miracle. Thank you so much Dr. Kim!!! I would recommend her to anybody with back pain or any pain try it you will be amazed at what healing powers can do! more

Very pleased! 5/2/2011

Within the last few months, the stresses of everyday life and deadlines for school have been affecting me both physically and mentally. I started developing very tense muscles and prominent back pain that would always cause frustration for me. I was having a hard time concentrating and dealing with the pain. Right as Dr. Kim understood what I was going through, she was able to provide immense healing help. Within my first treatment, the pain completely subsided and I was able to move around freely, as if my muscles were never tense. It felt as if a weight or burden of pain was lifted off my shoulders! Dr. Kim was very sincere and caring and I felt comfortable with her knowledge. I am truly happy with the results and would most definitely recommend her. more

Brand New! 1/26/2011

I have had eczema since I was a child. Never really had any breakouts but as i got older, it would show up on my arms. My wrist area started to break out really bad. The more i scratched it, the worse it got. It also started to spread. I tried alot of the over the counter creams and nothing would work. I even tried what the dermatologist prescribed "" Elidel "" but that didn't work either. Once western medicine doesn't work for me, I automatically decide to treat the problem naturally. Once Dr. Kim saw what i was dealing with she knew exactly what to do. I knew it wouldn't go away over night but I did know it would go away for good. The area where the eczema was is now clear and it looks like i have brand new skin. You are amazing Dr. Kim!....Thank You! more

Pregnant with acupuncture! 9/24/2010

I came to see Dr. Kim because I had fertility problems for many years. I tried hormones, IUI and several rounds of IVF which did not work and ended up spending tens of thousands of dollars because it was not covered by my insurance. It was really disappointing. I decided to try acupuncture after the advice of a friend who is very health conscious and uses a lot of alternative therapies. I followed Dr. Kim?s regimen and took herbs along with acupuncture. After several months of diligently following her plan, I got pregnant!!!! We are so excited and really happy with the results. Dr. Kim was great. She was so nice and helpful through the entire experience. We are so lucky to have met her! If you are having infertility problems, I would definitely suggest trying alternative methods!! more

A few months ago I called to make an appointment with Dr. Jennifer Kim at Calle Mayor Acupuncture office. I spoke with the receptionist Carla who made my appointment she was very professional and answered all of my questions including price and procedure needed for my situation. The treatment was not cheap but it was really worth it because I have been having a twitching in my face and eyes for more than 10 years, I have visited many different doctors however no one has helped me. It was very hard for me to read books and live a normal life. It made me depressed and exhausted. When Dr. Kim treated me I felt much, much better than I have felt in a very long time. I have been following her instructions. NOW, I?M TWITCH AND PAIN FREE!!!!!! I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR HER MIRACLE HEALING!!! THANK YOU, DR.KIM!! more

mixed feelings 8/15/2010

This doctor is very skilled, however, I was duped. Prior to my session I asked for the total charges. The receptionist and doctor avoided my repeated questioning. I figured to expect the market rate or a little higher. The session went well and I was told I needed to go twice a week for optimal results. Things went well till the receptionist told me that I owed a balance of $500!!! This was a financial setback for my family. In life I try to gain something positive from all my experiences. From this I learned that if you are doing business with someone and they don't disclose pricing upfront, be very suspicious. more

Tennis sports injury 3/31/2010

I sustained a wrist injury during a tennis match in January and was not able to play for several months. My sports medicine doctor suggested acupuncture because physical therapy was not working. I received several treatments at Calle Mayor Acupuncture from Dr. Kim and my wrist is now fully functional without any pain. I am very very happy that I can play tennis again and very appreciative of Dr. Kim's help. I definitely recommend her. Pros: Great results more

Compassionate And Warm Service 12/30/2009

When i saw Dr. Kim for the first time, I was unable to walk or stand up properly without help from pain killers. After my first treatment, I felt amazing. My back pain was 98% gone and I no longer had to take pain medication or use hot packs. After my second treatment, I feel totally pain free. I can walk, stand up straight, and run. I feel so good and I am so grateful to Dr. Kim for her warm personality and heart. She shows so much compassion and understanding for you as a patient. Amazing and Gifted Doctor 11/23/2009

I was referred to Dr. Kim by my Gynecologist for my Endometriosis. My stomach was swollen, fatigue, and I had weird circles under my eyes. After one treatment I already feel and see results! My stomach is not bloated anymore, my cheeks are glowing, and the lines under my eyes have disappeared. Dr. Kim is an amazing and gifted doctor. I am forever grateful to have found her. I also lost 4 lbs, just today after my treatment. I had a great healing experience 11/6/2009

I have suffered with chronic health problem. I have been visited many doctors but it was not improved. When I found Dr. Kim by the words of mouth. With few visits, I feel much better and my ailment was significantly improved. It was miracle! My health Insurance was not cover but it was worth it ! I am so happy and thankful to Dr. Kim ! . Great place for back pain 10/26/2009

I?ve had severe back pain for several years and have been unsuccessfully treated by sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. I visited Dr. Kim for my back and had great results. I can now run and walk without pain, which is a great feeling! She is expensive but I think you get what you pay for. She actually spends the time to get to the core of the problem instead of seeing me for 5 minutes and rushing me off with pain medicine to cover up the problem like other doctors. When you have severe back pain and cannot function normally, it is well worth it to invest in good medical care. I?ve wasted so much time and money on other doctors and feel very grateful to be have found someone who can help me. You really can?t put a price on good health. Not worth it 9/21/2009

This doctor charged over $500 for my first visit. Alls she told me was that I needed to stop eating sugar and salt completely, and it would take many, many treatments to feel better. I didn't feel better after the first one, so hundreds of dollars per treatment is not worth it. I'm going to try someone else. Cons: Too expensive more
