Call, Stephen C, Dds - My Dentist

I am perplexed, Dr. Call is extremely good, and professional, but twice now the front desk person has ""reprimanded"" me. So here's the deal, over the last 2 years, I have missed 2 appointments. This time I called 2 days ahead, and spoke with someone, today a scheduler tells me that no one got the call. She also said that now she fears making another appointment for me, so she will try to ""pencil"" me in.. Jennifer, the scheduler, said that it would be too risky to give me the 1/12 hour appointment, time.. I understand a late charge, although I should not get one since I CALLED TO CANCEL, but I have never had a professional reprimand me, and it has happened twice.. Last time they told me that this late charge and scolding might help me appreciate the Dr's valuable time. One more thing, twice, my husband and I have waited longer than an hour for our appointment. Talk about valuable time !!!! Is our time just not as important as his ??? I want to change dentists, cause it is sooooooooo awkward now to speak with their office. What to do!!! more

I've seen Dr Call off and on for the last 4 years, have zero complaints from my side-he does well with young kids as well. I called last month to cancel the day of my appt and they understood that we had flu-like symptoms and promptly rescheduled. Pros: clean office, newer technology, friendly environment Cons: northside of town! more

Dr. Call is the greatest. He's a hard worker with all of the care and compasion you expect in your dental provider. His staff is always been warm, kind and very flexable. Pros: great parking, easy access, great location/drive time Cons: closed on sunday! more

I had a really bad experience with the business manager Marla at dr. call's office. He wasn't that bad of a dentist, but his staff were some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with in medical or dental offices. I am a very amicable person who gets along with everyone. I just think people need to be more professional. If you are having a bad day....leave it at home. Fake it till you make it! This woman should be terminated immediately. In conclusion, please be aware that a practice is defined by the employees working for it. I would not ever recommend going to My Dentist. Good luck in the future, Dr. Call. more
