This is the best sandwich I've had in a long time. The Bread has a light crisp texture, the flavor is not overpowering. By the time I got it back to my office it was still warm....

Fantastic Sandwich!! 5/10/2007

This is the best sandwich I've had in a long time. The Bread has a light crisp texture, the flavor is not overpowering. By the time I got it back to my office it was still warm. I am not a huge fan of sandwiches but this is ""One Dang Good Sandwich"", I will definately be returning!!! Pros: Great tasting food Cons: long line, Get there early more

Excellent Sandwiches! 3/22/2006

If you're looking for fresh, right out of the oven sourdough bread sandwiches, with choice cuts of meat that are barbequed and smoked by the deli itself, this is the place to go! Their famous sourdough spread tops off an already great sandwich. This has to be the best sandwich place I have ever been to in San Jose... Actually, in all the bay area! Polite and kind staff, fresh ingredients, and fresh bread... What more could you want out of a deli? It's no wonder there are so many people there everyday! Fine Sandwiches! 3/2/2006

Realistically, I am rating a deli, so my rating is relative to other deli. However, the food quality and taste of this deli could actually compare to some fine dining. I first ate there 5 yrs ago, and was hooked from then. I swear I have never ate sandwich that good ever from anywhere else. Order the sandwich hot, and you would be eating the sandwich from above!!! The sourdough breads are fresh and hot, and the deli meats also hold their own. Friendly atmosphere, line sometimes get real long, but definitely worth the little wait. Damn! THE BEST SANDWHICHES AROUND!!! 10/11/2005

If your looking for a sandwhich then this is the place to go. They make their bread fresh every 10-15 minutes. All their ingredients are fresh. THe service is fast and always correct. The sandwhiches fill you up. THey only seel one size abaout 6 inches or a little bigger but they are filling. The atmosphere is casual and homey. You should definitely check it out if you can.
