We'd been meaning to come here for a while, and finally, today was the day. I had the beef enchilada plate, while my significant other had the pollo adovado burrito. While we waited for our meal to arrive, the salsa and chips arrived, and I was pleasantly surprised at the bite the salsa had.\r

When our entrees arrived, the first thing I commented on was the presentation; very well put together plates, good portions, and that wonderful home-made aroma. I wished I had a camera with me to take a picture, the meals were both so beautiful to look at. The real beauty, however, came with the first bite of the meal. The red chile on my enchiladas had a nice kick to it without burning a hole in my system; the beef was well-seasoned, with a nice amount of cheese on top. I ordered rice & beans for the side dishes, and they did not disappoint. The beans were made fresh; no cans for these folks!\r

Our waitress, Nancy, was very helpful and attentive without hovering, and friendly without being cloying about it. We will keep coming back until we've tried everything on the menu! You kind of have to look hard for it if you're not familiar with the area, but believe me, it's well worth the effort. Prices are moderate; it's not cheap, but it's high quality product, well worth the money spent. \r

I'm just grateful that we live fairly close by, so I'll have a good excuse to walk down there for a meal...great exercise!
