Caliber Collision

My auto repair shop recommended Walden Collision after someone hit my back bumper. The free estimate was immediate, I could schedule it whenever was convenient for me, they finished the work in less than the two days they said it would take ( and the one day was a blizzard with everyone else closed) and it looks better than it did when I got it from the showroom! My car is an unusual color ( electrolyte green) and they matched it perfectly. The cost was a third of what the dealer had quoted me. I'm recommending them to everyone I know. more

I brought my 1936 Mercedes Gullwing into the shop after I lost one of the doors to my wife's negligence. She apparently thought you could pull the car in the garage with the door up! Well Don at Walden Collision was able to procure a new gullwing door direct from Mercedes in no time. They apparently had schematics for the door witch the guys over at Walden Collision promptly used to fabricate a new door and install on my baby all in a weeks time! Walden Collision did a great job fixing my Jeep door and replacing my driver side mirror. Within two business days I recieved an estimate and all work was completed. To anyone considering taking their car to Walden Collision, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I took my car in after I was rear ended, the bumper was in need of minor body work and new paint. I took it the day after it happened to have the damage assessed so the other driver could pay the bill. After a week and six phone calls with no call back I was finally able to set up my appointment. I was told numerous times it would take one day to complete. after dropping the car off the night before I called to ask what time I could pick it up, I was told two days later. I was able to get it back the next day however after arguing that I was told it would only take a day. When it was finally done they never called me, I had to call them. The owner who assessed the damage said it would look ""perfect"" when he was done. The job was far from perfect, cracks in the paint, bubbles in the paint, body clips left hanging from the bumper, exhaust tip not repaired, and sanding marks were among the issues with their repair. It was so bad I opted not to have them fix it, but would rather take it elsewhere and pay out of pocket in an effort to keep it from getting ruined more. The next day I had to spend 45 minutes cleaning the dust from the car as if they did all of the sanding of the body work with the windows open, as well as trying to get rid of the awful oder in the car. This was a very simple repair that turned out terrible, I have no idea how this place stays in business, and don't believe them to have any return customers. So again if you value how your car looks I strongly urge you to consider another collision shop. more
