I'm going to be writing as many reviews as possible about this Collision Center in hopes from saving people from the experience I've had. I brought my car to Mulder's (Now Collision Center of America) three years ago after I was hit from behind. After the first car wash I noticed the trunk was leaking so I brought it back. The manager, Brian was very pleasant and said he would fix it. A few days later he said it was completely leak free. In the meantime it was baseball season so we have the trunk filled with baseball equipment, chairs etc.. Well, a few months later when I cleaned out the trunk mat was wet and it had a terrible musty odor. So I brought it back again. Once again he said he would fix it, well guess what? The trunk was still leaking and by now the trunk and my whole car smells terrible. By now I'm livid. This time I let them know that if it's not fixed this time we will be getting an independent shop to find what the "real" problem is and take it from there. Well, what do you know he says that it was leaking through the tail light and that it wears over time, had nothing to do with him. Of course this isn't true because the trunk was leaking from the day it left his shop so the tail light needed to be replaced then. I asked him why he didn't replace the tail light to begin with and he replied, "Listen, I've gone way beyond what I needed to do." I said, really? My car is ruined, the smell is horrible, I've already had the matt cleaned once and asked him to replace it due to the fact that not only is my matt moldy and smelly but there is rust beginning to form because of the extended amount of time water has been accumulating. He tried once again with his "sweet talk" by saying, "Over time this happens."
Blah, blah, blah, blah, What does he think I'm an iodit. The FACT is this. He didn't do the job right to begin with and he's refusing to take responsibility for his mistake. He doesn't feel bad that I've had to incur many days of a car rental, drying cleaning of the matt and now the cost of replacing it not to mention having to drive back and forth 6 times. So this "nice guy" is not so nice after all. He just real good at difusing a situation with his "sweet ways." It's so frustrating when people don't care about another. I'm sure he wouldn't want to be driving around in my car right now. The least he could have done was clean it and freshen it up because after all it is he and his business who didn't do the right thing to begin with. Well, we shall see whether the leak was really fixed this time but if not I won't give up I spent alot of money on this car and I use to really love driving it. Oh and by the way, when I asked him why he's not taking responsibility for his error, he hung up.
