of all the glowing reviews other web sites. I sampled their Stout. It's not as heavy as Guinness Extra Stout, but heavier than the weak kneed Guinness Draft and has coffie overtones. In other words, just about perfect. I took a half gallon "Growler" away with me for home consumption at a more appropriate hour. (It's refillable. $9 on Thursdays and $12 any other time.) It should get me through the weekend ;-) I lunched upon their highly touted Reuben sandwich. The kraut was well drained and the battered fries were crispy, satisfying both my special preparation requests. An interesting difference was their use of honey mustard rather than the usual Thousand Island dressing. I anticipate being more impressed with their brews than their food as time and circumstance allows more thorough testing. The service was acceptable. If a quiet lunch is your desire, know that at noon there were a couple of patrons who were pretty well into their cups and having a good time. I got the feeling they may be regulars. I enjoyed their revelry, but you might not.(Note added the next day) I left a library book there and called. A very helpful gent named Keith found it and put it aside for me. Meanwhile, the lid on my Growler failed to seal and I had a mess in my trunk and about a quart of very flat Stout when I arrived home. Today, while retrieving my book, I told the young lady bartender what had happened. She gave me a note for a free refill and gave me another Growler lid. A+ customer service I'd say!!
Pros: Exceptional Stout!!
