Cal-Nevada Towing & Repair

On November 5th, I broke down between goldfield and tonopah. AT&T said emergency service only, dialed 911, got Nye county sheriff, stated I was in esmerilda county. Two hours I limped into Tonopah, the only garage open at 10:00 am Cal/Nevada towing. I have a 2003 superduty with a 6.0 diesel, fillred it in Goldfield with contaminated fuel, bought filters from Nappa, defective! Mechanic at Cal/Nev. gone to Las Vegas, wife giving birth. presumed fuel filters plugged, tow driver offered to help, I explained that I had defective filters from Nappa and were under warrenty, he ordered from CarQuest, had to supply tools and instruct on how to change them, cost- filters $163 labor $85= $248.00, filters Nappa $47. While there I observed the driver charge, people from California, $153 for 2 gals of diesel, 11 miles out of town more

While towing our 37' Fifth wheel from our home in Oregon, our Disel truck had other ideas than a smooth trip. We broke down west of Tonopah and had to have truck and 5th wheel towed. Brekdowns are never fun, b ut this was alot better than most tow's due to Jeff & Keith at Cal-Nevada having our welfare was evident to them and made us feel alot better. We had to be towed all the way to Country Ford in Henderson, Nv.
