Truly, you cannot eat just one, be it a dessert treat, a cup cake, a slice of cake, it is all SO delicious! And, if you like fondant, call a day ahead and they'll put that on your cupcake or cake, and the price is not that much higher.\r Need a cake for a wedding, birthday, or special event? Call, they will do it YOUR way. They have a wonderful courteous, professional and friendly staff. more

Best of the best!! 2/1/2012

Where do I start? Great cakes, cupcakes, cookies, lunch and more. Last week I had their lunch for the 1st time and it was wonderful. Topped lunch off with a lemon cupcake that was perfect in every way. I took a Banana Caramel cupcake home to my son. He loved it and the bite I got was amazing! I will go back time and time again! 6 Times in 5 Weeks! Really..... 1/12/2012

Just found this place on 67/167. They moved from Cabot, to Jacksonville. They have only been open 5 weeks and I have been there 6 times already! I've had just about every cupcake flavor they offer and everyone of them was amazing. Today I tried their new lunch menu, and the smoked ham sub was fabulous! I would highly recommend Cakes by Sam to anyone who is wanting quality cakes and food! more

Great Cakes 1/10/2012

These cakes are works of art not to mention great taste. I've had cakes from a lot of places but these are the most moist and fresh cakes I have found. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Great folks too. more

Best Cakes Around!! 1/21/2009

Cakes by Sam created my custom wedding cake a few years ago and it was simply awesome. It tasted as good as it looked. All my guests raved about the cake for months after our wedding. Since then Cakes by Sam is now doing my children's birthday cakes and each one to date have been wonderful . They have all been cake ""Works of Art"". I would highly recommend Cakes by Sam to anyone and everyone. \r Sam has always been wonderful, professional and very easy to work with. Pros: Simply awesome cakes more

Sam is the best ever, she has been making my family's cakes for a while now and thay keep getting better and better i highly recommend them.\r She is realy talented at what she does. Outstanding Service, Excellent Cakes!!! 6/27/2007

I just found out about this site and wanted to make a comment on my family's favorite place to get cakes. I noticed the most unbelievable comment above. We have been getting our cakes from Cakes by Sam for over 12 years now and have always received the best service you could ask for. Their cakes are always great tasting and are the best quality found anywhere. Sam is always very helpful and cooperative in meeting all my cake needs. I can't believe anyone would say that Sam is rude and uncooperative. She focuses on meeting her customers's specific needs and goes out of her way to make all of our cakes special. Sounds like to me that someone needs to check their personality, Not Sam's! Thanks again Sam for making all of our cake dreams come true! more

Awful personality... loves to argue 6/12/2007

My fiancee and I met with Sam and were very disappointed. She was very rude and uncooperative. We wanted our cake consultation to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience.\r \r Instead she was very hostile, argumentative, and had little interest in what we wanted for a wedding or groom's cake. I mentioned some ideas I had or things I liked, and she was very insistent on arguing with me about why I shouldn't select a certain flavor of cake.\r \r Do not waste your time by going to see her. Cons: Argumentative, rude, doesn't care about what customer wants more
